Senior officials from Bangladesh's state and local governments visited the ACRC on 2 July to gain understanding about Korea's anti-corruption system and policies. They asked a lot of questions regarding whistleblower protection and reward that is put in place in Korea. Among the questions were ways to ensure that corruption informants are protected from threats or revenge that they might face because of their whistle blowing. They said that in Bangladesh many people do not come forward to report corruption for fear of reprisal.
