Representatives from various sectors, such as the government, civil society organizations, the media, and the private sector, can submit the proposal containing the title, speakers, and content of discussion, and plan for securing funding for the workshop.

Among the proposals submitted, after listening opinions of experts worldwide, the IACC Council, a decision-making body related on IACC issues, will select 50 proposals to hold a workshop at the conference. Selected proposals will be announced in the early next year.

People from countries around the world are expected to submit workshop proposals on various topics as the workshop at this biggest global anti-corruption conference will provide a good opportunity to have an in-depth discussion with experts around the world.

□ Assistant Chairman Park Gye-ok for Planning & Coordination Office said, “The 19th IACC Seoul is not a conference for experts who talk about global issues only. Rather, it will bring together people in Korea from various walks of life, such as the public sector, civil society organizations, the academia, the media, and the private sector, who will discuss Korea’ s anti-corruption achievements and challenge with the world and seek ways to make the country more transparent”. He added “the ACRC welcomes interests and engagement in the IACC by all citizens from various sectors”.
