On December 16, ACRC chairperson Pak Un Jong delivered a key note speech at the 8th session of the Conference of State Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. During her speech, Chairperson Pak introduced Korea’s major anti-corruption policies such as strengthened public interest whistleblower protection system in practical term through the amendment to the Public Interest Whistleblower Protection Act. She also requested participation and interest from the participants in the 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) scheduled to be held in Seoul next year.
